Held from the 10th to the 13th of September 2024 in Prague, Czech Republic, the Global Evidence Summit 2024 conference brought together professionals in evidence-based practice across sectors including health, education, and social justice. Researchers, policymakers, and practitioners came together to exchange knowledge on the production and dissemination of evidence to inform policy. The 2024 summit explored the theme of multi-disciplinary collaboration to address global challenges. It highlighted the importance of evidence synthesis and guideline development in improving lives through informed decision-making.

Workshop: Applying the GRADE-ADOLOPMENT Approach
This session addressed the adaptation of existing guidelines to reduce effort in guideline development. The presentation covered the GRADE Adolopment approach and the use of the GRADEpro Adolopment feature to automate these processes. Workshop: Training on Technology for Remote Guideline Development
This workshop examined the use of digital tools to facilitate remote guideline panels. The session focused on the use of PanelVoice within GRADEpro to provide forms for communication and to collect judgements from panel members. The discussion addressed the reduction of travel and the management of panel opinions.
Oral Presentation: Guideline Development Strategies
The presentation covered strategies for guideline production, including living guideline processes and Good Practice Statements (GPS). Evidence Prime demonstrated the application of GPS in the CAN PCC project and the European Commission Initiatives for Cancer guidelines. The session included the demonstration of an online map of recommendations.
Evidence Prime’s contributions and attendance at the Global Evidence Summit highlighted the role of AI and automation in evidence synthesis. Representatives including Artur Nowak, Co-founder and CTO, and teams from Laser AI and GRADEpro engaged with attendees at booth B10. The interactions focused on the implementation of Laser AI for systematic reviews and GRADEpro for healthcare practice enhancements. We continue to participate in the exchange of ideas regarding industry trends and solutions.
