ISPOR Europe 2024

Held from the 17th to the 20th of November 2024 in Barcelona, Spain, the ISPOR Europe 2024 conference brought together professionals in health economics and outcomes research (HEOR). Researchers, healthcare leaders, and decision-makers came together to exchange knowledge on the role of evidence in health and well-being. The 2024 conference explored the theme “Generating Evidence Toward Health and Well-Being”. It highlighted the role of evidence in enhancing health outcomes and supported the development of reviews and guidelines through technology.

Poster Session 4:
Are the Machines Ready to Take Over? Can Artificial Intelligence Replace a Human Reviewer for Literature Screening and Selection for Systematic Literature Reviews?
In collaboration with Open Health, this study examined the capacity of artificial intelligence to replace human reviewers during the screening and selection phases of systematic literature reviews. The research focused on the transition from manual to automated processes.
Poster Session 5:
Accuracy and Efficiency of Automated or Artificial Intelligence Tools in Systematic Literature Reviews: A Systematic Literature Review In collaboration with Mtech Access, this study evaluated the accuracy and efficiency of automation and artificial intelligence tools within systematic literature reviews. It analyzed the impact of these tools on the production of evidence for health economics and outcomes research.
Evidence Prime’s contributions and attendance at ISPOR Europe highlighted the importance of evidence synthesis and guideline development. The presence at booth 327 allowed for the demonstration of Laser AI and GRADEpro in organizing data and minimizing bias. These tools support policymakers and practitioners in reaching conclusions to inform health policies. We continue to provide solutions for these methodologies.
