Speaking at HTAi - AI & the Living HTA

June 14, 2025

Artur Nowak, cofounder and CTO of Evidence Prime, alongside Roche joined a symposium titled "AI & the Living HTA". The discussion was conducted to examine the role of artificial intelligence in evolving Health Technology Assessment practices. The session focused on the transition from static evaluations to a "Living HTA" framework, which utilizes AI to automate and accelerate evidence synthesis and decision-making. The symposium took place during the HTAi 2025 Annual Meeting in Buenos Aires on Monday the 16th of June 2025.

The discussion involved health technology assessment experts and researchers who are investigating the intersection of AI innovation and healthcare policy. Integrating AI into HTA processes allows for continuous data updates and faster evidence generation. This shift is intended to make health assessments more responsive to new data, which impacts the speed at which patients gain access to medical technologies. The session also served to establish whether existing HTA infrastructures can support the technical requirements of AI integration.
