KRAKÓW, POLAND 2026 — Artur represented Evidence Prime as a panel speaker at the 12th Annual Kraków Health Technology Assessment (HTA) Symposium. Organized by Certara, the event serves as a forum for healthcare policymakers, clinical experts, and industry stakeholders to discuss market access frameworks, pricing, and reimbursement strategies across Central and Eastern Europe.

During the panel session, Artur addressed the role of artificial intelligence and automation in health technology assessment (HTA), emphasizing the need for a "human-in-the-loop" approach. He noted that while HTA demands faster evidence reviews, maintaining trust remains crucial. This perspective aligns with current international frameworks: NICE guidelines state that AI should augment rather than replace informed human judgement; CDA-AMC emphasizes balancing AI benefits against transparency and ethical risks; and Cochrane/RAISE protocols mandate full disclosure of AI use while keeping authors strictly accountable for tool validation. Consequently, human oversight serves as a layer of validation to ensure data integrity, ethical compliance, and clinical contextualization. Jacek Walczak, Vice President, EU Market Access at Certara, invited Evidence Prime to participate and led the panel's focus on the integration of technology into HTA workflows.
